6 X the Insulating Value of a Traditional Skylight

For minimal thermal transfer while still providing an abundance of highly diffused natural light you want Nano Insulgel. Our proprietary Nano Insulgel skylights utilize multi-wall polycarbonate panels filled with nano sized silica aerogel. Silica aerogels, also known as “blue smoke” or “frozen smoke”, are one of the lightest solid materials known and function as super insulators. The nano pore structure sized material possess excellent light transmission, thermal and sound insulation properties. Nano Insulgel has about 6 times the insulating value of a traditional skylight.

Nano Insulgel can be applied to any glazing configuration or combination; however our standard Nano Insulgel skylights are comprised of acrylic outer domes over Nano Insulgel panels.
